My PS3 is having trouble playing some types of movies with a certain audio codec. Can someone help me?

Whenever I try to watch a movie that has a MP3 112kbps codec, the sound comes out bubbly as if someone is holding a microphone in a fish tank. The movies in question all play fine on my computer, and it's only the movies with that codec that have troubles, the rest of the movies range from 96-134kbps and all play fine. Anyone know how to fix this?

check the "audio options" in the XMB on the PS3 and select the audio that your receiver decodes...

check the audio connections they might be loose...

good luck!!!
