ok mine you just hold the button down for like 15 to 30 seconds but you have to hold it up to the lil senser on the motor and it should work
Reply:OK if its a Wayne Dalton its a old GDO. More then likely its a 390MHZ logic board. First you want to check to see if you have a compatible remote. If its a 315MHZ remote it will not work. But if its a 390 it should. First thing you want to do is hold down the learn button on the unit until the LCD light stop flashing.


What that does is clears the memory.


Next you want to press and release the learn button.


Within 30 seconds of pressing it, you want to press and hold the button on the remote you want to program. The little LCD light should turn off. And there you go you have your remote programed...
