Reply:Where do you live?
There are small sections of this planet where an apricot/peach/nectarine tree will deign to survive. These areas are highly protected United States Secret Files, and you, as a mere home owner, are unlikely to ever discover this information.
These trees are advertised, sold, shipped, lovingly planted, nurtured...and they meekly, if weakly, consent to live for the period of time necessary to honor their nursery guarantee. Immediately following this period, the leaves will curl and blacken, branches will die back, and the entire plant is likely to spontaneously collapse. You will purchase chemicals you swore would never cross your property line, and the tree will wither superciliously and die, die, die.
Give it all up now. To please a plum is possible, to appease an apple is also available, but abandon hope all ye who approach the dreaded apricot. Have a lovely day.
