I sometimes get uncontrollable anger which overtakes me and i do something which i dont even now.Today i broke my television and 2 days before i broke 5 glasses.I am a strong guy.I usally do some 40-50 pushups when i get angry or work on biceps which will calm it for a while because i take my aggression on the weights.And its getting out of my control lately.
How do i control my anger?Need serious help I am regretting?
it's great that you realize that you have an anger problem and want help for it. i do, too. you should go see a doctor, they will be able to help you. but here's things that have helped me, and i hope that they can help you, too!:
count to 20 and take deep breaths.
try to avoid things/people that might trigger you and try not to talk to people that you dislike.
exercise (it seems like you already do this)
take a walk to clear your mind %26amp; get some fresh air
try to fix what's making you angry
talk to someone about what's bothering you
yell into a pillow (it works! :)

Reply:Be rid of your anger before it overtakes you. I know. My anger escalated to deep seated hatred. People were deliberately capitalizing upon my arrogance and hatred. I was losing friends horribly and it had taken a princess to come along and help me out when no one else cared to.

Reply:I don't have an answer, but I can tell you you are not alone. I have a brother who looks like he is going to pop a vein, when ever something does not go his way, or the way it is suppose to go. I and most people get mad from time to time, but we have different levels. A 1 is maybe your son not taking out the garbage when you asked him to, clean his room. A 5 would be if someone stoled from you, or cut you off in traffic. A 10 would be if someone tried to kill you, your family, or friends. My brother has only one level of anger. 90% on anything that upsets him. The main problem witch I heard from you is you get so man you hurt yourself, either physically, or financially. I will tell you what I told my brother figure out what you want and ask yourself will breaking something, get me what I want, or make things worse.
Reply:You must see a counselor to learn how to contro anger. It sounds like you need help now. There are all types of anger management counselors. Check with your family physician or local clinic before you hurt a person.
Reply:bipolar, or anti- depressant med, go to "am I depressed" fill it out, bring to your doc, depression manifests itself in many ways, and anger is big on the list, do this, and best of luck!
Reply:Sounds like you need to take some anger management courses or get counseling. Given your comments about working out, I'd also have to mention that IF you do steroids...That would be the problem.
