I have applied for fin aid (a loan) to pay for a trip to study abroad. The fin aid director will not approve my request and is being a complete jack a$$ about it. I am supposed to have the 3500 dollar cost paid in 2 weeks. He keeps running me in circles and its really stressing me out.
What can I do?

Well, almost everyone has someone they report to. Go over his head, but can you clarify a little? It just seems odd he is sitting on an approval just to be mean. Are you in verification? Is that the run around you are talking about?
Reply:Financial aid is there to pay for your basic education, not pay for a trip to Europe. Better start looking for a relative who float you a loan...
