I'm currently employed to work 40 hours per week from 8:30 to 17:00 monday to friday with half hour lunch unpaid, And Saturday mornings from 8:30 to 12:30 on a rota basis. The position is salaried (no overtime applicable). My gripe is that I do not get paid at all for working Saturdays. I spoke to my boss and he said that if I don't work Saturdays then I should find another job.
Is this Legal?

If its less than national minimum wage, you can complain to an Industrial tribunal as this is a breach of your statutory rights (as you can if your contract doesnt state the hours).
To not pay you is also a breach of your statutory rights, its an 'illegal deduction from wages' and you can also take your boss to a tribunal to get this back.
Best bet is to contact your local CAB or ACAS or an employment solicitor if you have any in your area. To do anything you need to first put in a grievance to your employer and there are specific procedures to follow if you want your case to be successful.

i've tried some of the cat therapy etc. as well as checking him out with a vet. I have had the cat since he was born - always with me and a female cat. The female cat joined us when she was one year old. she is now 10.

It will be in a white bottle with red lettering. We had a cat that peed in a spot in the dining room of our house when we moved and she had never peed in my house before. I used Natures Miracle and she never did it again :)

The cat may be smelling other cats that lived in the house before. If the female is not fixed she may be in heat. Other then that it is hard to keep male cats from spraying. Reply:Its called a diabetic trance. Most drs dont recognize it though.... they just let you eat junk until your even sicker that way they are insured they have a job. Right now you could get control of your life if you are just given a couple of tools.

Your blood sugars are screwing with your head so much that it will be easy to just give up but if you make this choice while you are in a healthy state of mind you should be okay.

Reply:Its called a diabetic trance. Most drs dont recognize it though.... they just let you eat junk until your even sicker that way they are insured they have a job. Right now you could get control of your life if you are just given a couple of tools.

You will need to contact a qualified leather technician as you will have removed the finish on the leather and possibly pigment with the nail varnish remover which is a solvent. There is nothing you can do yourself which will help to resolve this problem and anything you try will only make the matter worse.
DO NOT use shoe polish or any colouring products to resolve this yourself and cleaning products will not help.

My female beta is constantly floating at the top of the tank and even when swimming down is pulled up. help!!?
I bought 2 female betas about 5 days ago and one has acclimated well and is swimming and happy. The fish in question does nothing but float at the top and even when she tries to swim down it seems as if she's being pulled back up to the surface. Yesterday when I came home she was floating sideways on the top of the tank and I thought that she might be dead. When i tried to check on her she swam away. What could the problem be?

She's probably gassy. I know, LOL... but seriously. I had a beta once who did the same thing, %26amp; after some research, that's what I found.
You may be overfeeding her, which is a very common mistake of beta owners. Try feeding her less, %26amp;/or less frequently. They really don't need much food, %26amp; our temptation to feed them more just messes up their digestion %26amp; makes their thank dirtier (as the food they can't eat becomes sludge).

The disorder is often caused by overfeeding, so try fasting your betta for a couple of days, and then feed her a small portion of the inside of a cooked pea. Reduce the amount of food you give her per day, and always fast one day per week.

Usually sorority tanks have at least three females to disperse aggression; two females usually results in the severe abuse of one by the other. If they are in separate tanks, then it's not relevant. Even if they aren't fighting, though, they are competing for food, so it may be possible that your sick female has been overeating while trying to beat the other out for food. Keep an eye on them.

The reason why your betta is floating at the top of his tank is because he is suffering from something known as Swim Bladder; an imbalance in the delicate organ in every fish (like a diaphragm) that allows them to float up and down.
Try lowering the pressure of the water every hour or so by emptying out some of the water from his tank to 'exercise' his swim bladder; then add some more, then release some more; etc, until your fish has started swimming normally again.

The fish may have also had an illness that you didn't detect when you purchased it. About the only thing you can do is ensure your filter is on its lowest setting to reduce excessive water movement and ensure your tank is heated to a proper tropical temp of 78F. If the new fish doesn't survive, then you should be able to return the fish for credit or a refund depending upon your stores live fish guarantee.

hold down the center and the play button [it may be the center and menu button... i always get them confused]. this will reset the ipod and everything should work fine afterwards. this usually happens to mine and it works everytime. if it doesnt work, then im not sure whats wrong with it.

I walk him but no matter what he pees inside.

I have the same problem .I will take my dogs out and they will both use the restroom and then come inside, as soon as we get inside the little one will pee inside. My trainer said I need to take them out more often and discipline her for it. NOthing he told me to do worked, so im stuck just like you!

All it is is a denim material you put on them while theyre in the house, if they piddle in it the denim being wet makes them uncomfortable...which in turn should train them pretty quick. I used it on my dog and he was trained after a matter of two weeks. Seriously, try it.
